Endasi wishes a happy Independence Day!
62 years ago, the Union Jack was lowered and the beautiful black, yellow and red Ugandan flag was raised to mark the moment Ugandans took control of what is theirs. Freedom is hard-earned and should be sustained. Our internal Endasi children spent the day off with our volunteers. In the morning, the older boys went to the community pitch together with Coach Moses. At lunchtime, everyone went swimming together at the "Nile Hotel" and everybody was splashing around and relaxing on the sun loungers. Delicious lunch from Aminah and prepared pizza dough for stick bread were waiting back home. A funny and successful day came to an end.
